The mighty Connecticut River, that bisects Connecticut and the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts and separates all of Vermont from New Hampshire, starts way up by the Canadian border at the three beautiful Connecticut Lakes. they are pretty remote, so there is very little in the way of services and phone reception, but the area is beautiful and unspoiled. We make the 300-mile trip at least every other year
