Dinner on a Hot August Night
The weather had been threatening all day. It was a Saturday, and by rights Lorna and I should have been somewhere beyond Montpelier or Litchfield, but we stayed home and planned for a Sunday drive. That was very successful - details soon!
Everything was cooked on the grill, keeping the cottage cool. As you can see from the photo at the top of the page, the beach breezes were never far from the kitchen table! The dishes were all simple, but they were made with quality ingredients so there was no sense of cutting corners. It was an excellent dinner for a hot, unsettled August night!
