Great Barrington is a pretty little city in far southwestern Massachusetts on Routes 7 and 20, very near the New York and Connecticut borders. It is home to Barrington Brewery and many good shops like the spectacular Locke, Stock, and Barrel Gourmet Grocer, plus it has easy access to the excellent Spirit Shoppe in South Egremont.

Great Barrington is a convenient stop for shopping and dining while exploring Route 7 along the western edge of New England.
