Mount Monadnock is a lone mountain in southern New Hampshire, far from the White Mountains and the Berkshires. It is south of Rte 101 between Keene and Peterborough, in Dublin and Jaffrey.

From many nearby roads you get no view of the mountain, but the locals know where to go. I got this photo from Old Harrisville Road, just off a tight bend around the lake on Rte 101 west of Dublin center.
