VT100

Route 100 in southern Vermont, heading northVermont Route 100 threads its way through the Green Mountains of Vermont, going pretty much from the Massachusetts border all the way to Canada. It is a beautiful, leisurely ride most of the year, although in the fall it is spectacular.

It is very hilly, passing by ski areas alternating with lowland streams and villages. Coming from Massachusetts and New York, it is easiest to get to the southern end of Rte 100 from Route 9, the Molly Stark Byway, from either Brattleboro or Bennington.
