Name: Lefty's Brewing

Location: Greenfield, MA

Lefty's is a true artisanal microbrewery fueled by personal passion, Yankee ingenuity, and lots of elbow grease on the part of roofer and part-time brewmaster (and president, CEO, marketing chief, and all-round grand-poobah) Bill "Lefty" Goldfarb. 

Lefty's products are still hard to find. I scored a bottle of Lefty's Irish-Style Stout at a coop in Leverett, MA (near Bernardston and Greenfield). I describe that experience in another post on this site. I can say that the stout is indeed to type, which is not something to take for granted with micro-brewers. I look forward to trying other Lefty's products, and will actively seek them. As I try them, I will diligently sample and report on them (all in the interest of Science, of course!)
