7. Morro Bay to Monterey via Paso Robles & Salinas
8. Monterey (Aquarium) and Santa Cruz
9. Santa Cruz
10. San Francisco to Mendocino via Cazadero inland route 
11. Mendocino
12. Fort Bragg to Napa
13. Napa to San Jose to Merced
14. Yosemite NP to Fish Camp
15. Fish Camp to LA via Sequoia and the big cats refuge
16. LA, Venice Beach
17. BUR to BOS on an unsatisfactory JetBlue red-eye
