Brewmaster Jack Stray Dog lager at the always-well-stocked Spirithaus in Amherts. Brewmaster Jack is one of at least three brewers in hardworking Holyoke, MA. (I also got one from High & Mighty, but failed to secure anything from Paper City).

I enjoyed this lager in the garden on a scorching hot afternoon when I needed no food; when the mercury hits 95, no nourishment could possibly be better than a cold craft-brewed lager in an Adirondack chair.

You know, I didn't miss the beechwood aging one bit!
