Element Red Giant with Epoisses
This particular ale has a strong hop profile and rich malts, and the flavor varies with temperature. I had it in a snifter at a little cooler than cellar temperature and let it warm through the evening. It's a big bottle of rich ale; it lasted all night. To eat, I had a stinky French Epoisses and some blackberries. That was enough. I cooked up some shrimp and a lobster tail for Lorna, but neither of them could fit in the room with the Red Giant. I finally thought of it like this: This Red Giant is like the smoldering coals of a campfire late at night... ever-changing, constantly fascinating. You can find a review at Beer Advocate.
