The Gourmet Cookbook, Volume 1The is an old-style book with old-style recipes, even older than the 1959 publication date of the book. I have now a borrowed copy from Annette, specifically for the purpose of creating the Royal Pudding a la Belle Indienne for Annette's Ritzy Birthday Dinner. The book is worth having for that recipe alone, but I have only scratched the surface of this excellent book. I will report further as I try additional recipes. (1 vote)
