We found Woodcock Farm just off Route 100 while Exploring the southern part of the Green Mountains.

Woodcock Farm makes a few sheep's-milk cheeses that we have found as far away as the Hanover Food Coop in NH and the Hunger Mountain Coop in Montpelier.

Woodcock Farm cheeses used to be available at the Fresh Market in Burlington, but sadly that establishment has much reduced its cheese selection (along with much else that made it destination shopping in Burlington!).

We found a wonderful Summer Snow at the Wine and Cheese Depot in Ludlow. Proprietor Leslie Stuart looked at it with an experienced eye and suggested holding it for a week before opening it. We did, and it became the centerpiece of an excellent light summer with Granny Smith apple, blackberries, and some Lisiecka Polish sausage.
