The Pine Tree state boasts many excellent markets of interest to foodies. Some that we have visited are:

• Golden Harvest Produce Market and Carl's Meat Market on the Gourmet Alley in Kittery: produce and dairy in the former, meats and microbrews at the latter
• Farmers Fare in Rockport: produce, dairy, coffee, gourmet variety - CLOSED - noted 25 Feb 2012
