Cirace's is a real find for foodies interested in fine Italian (and other) liquors and liqueurs.

The store is near the Paul Revere house, away from the hubbub of Hanover Street. The staff is always very knowledgeable and the selection is incredible in every way.

Although the wine selection is encyclopedic and the variety of liqueurs is legendary, I am always astonished by their selection of grappas. Grappa is an Italian brandy. The most commonly found brand, Grappa Julia, is enough to make anyone think they don't like grappa. Good grappa costs as much as good brandy, but the harder part is finding it in the first place. 

Cirace's also has incredible selection of other spirits, and not just Italian ones. The selection of bourbons and Scotches rivals most fine stores. Of particular interest, however, are the things you can't find anywhere else - I love just browsing the shelves here!
