Lemon Juice

Fresh is always best, but if you don't know how much juice is in a lemon, then it's easier to pour from a bottle.

A lemon has about one ounce of juice, which equals 2 tablespoons, so:

  • Juice of 1 lemon = 1 oz = 2 Tablespoons
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon = 1/2 ounce = 1 Tablespoon

Now you know!

Note: There's a little more juice in a lime, even though a lime is usually smaller: figure 1.5 oz, or 3 tablespoons of juice per lime.
