Black Truffle DressingSummary
DescriptionThis delicious dressing accompanied a simple three-lettuce salad for Annette's Ritzy Birthday Dinner. There is no special technique to this. The quality comes only from the ingredients, so use the best you can find. You can expect to spend $40 for a jar of 2 black truffles (Winter Truffles, not Summer Truffles or Himalayan Truffles), so don't compromise with cheap supermarket Balsamic Vinegar! Ingredients
InstructionsCombine all ingredients and shake well. Season to taste with salt and white pepper.
NotesI got a jar of two black truffles at Ed Hyder's Mediterranean Marketplace in Worcester. The truffles at the cheese counter at Whole Foods are summer truffles, which are not the same thing.
