Lime Juice

Fresh is always best, but if you don't know how much juice is in a lime, then it's easier to pour from a bottle.

A lime has about an ounce and a half of juice, which equals 3 tablespoons, so:

  • Juice of 1 lime = 1.5 oz = 3 Tablespoons
  • Juice of 1/2 lime = 3/4 ounce = 1.5 Tablespoons

Now you know!

Note: There's a little less juice in a lemon, even though a lime is usually smaller: 1 oz, or 2 tablespoons.
